USA: HIV incidence declining, but not enough to reach targets

The number of new HIV infections in the USA has fallen by 11% between 2010 and 2015, however the rate of decline falls far short of the goals set in the 2010-2015 National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS).

West and Central Africa ‘overlooked’ in HIV response

Access to antiretroviral treatment is worryingly low in West and Central Africa, with little priority given to HIV in the region, according to a report from Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Currently, just 24% of people have access to treatment in the region.
