Global overview of TB provision of preventive treatment to people newly enrolled in HIV care, 2017

Despite progress in some countries, just 15 of the 30 high TB/HIV burden countries reported some provision of TB preventive treatment to people living with HIV in 2017. Coverage varies widely.

There is no risk of passing on HIV if your doctor has confirmed that you are undetectable (or virally suppressed), you continue taking your treatment and attend regular viral load monitoring appointments. Undetectable = Untransmittable.
