This is a video of Dr. Brettle, a Consultant Physician at the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit, City Hospital, Edinburgh. In the interview at the 2nd International Conference on HIV in Children in Mothers (1993) he talks about treatment for AIDS and the results of the Concorde trial. The Concorde trial had just released a preliminary analysis of the results, showing that taking AZT before a person living with HIV develops symptoms had no long-term benefits.
