AIDS awareness poster produced in America in 1985. The poster reads: "This won't open the door to AIDS - there is no evidence that a person can get AIDS from door knobs, toilet seats, handshakes, dishes, food or from daily contact with a person who has AIDS. In fact, no one knows for sure what causes AIDS. Scientific research indicates that gay and bisexual men exposed to the repeated exchange of certain body fluids (semen, feces, blood) are at highest risk. Persons who share needles to inject drugs are also at high risk - For more information or help call the the New York State AIDS Hotline."
