A still from the UK 'iceberg' television advert. This advert was broadcast in 1987 as part of a national UK government AIDS campaign to tackle the growing problem of HIV/AIDS. The following is a transcript of the voiceover that accompanied the advert. "There is now a deadly virus that anyone can catch from sex with an infected person. But you can't always tell if someone is infected. The people who have died so far will be the tip of the iceberg. So protect yourself; it's safer if you use a condom. And remember, the more sexual partners, the greater the risk."
