All the donations that we receive are used to directly support our HIV/AIDS services, which means that any contribution is extremely valuable regardless of how small you think it may be. Without donations, AVERT could not provide much needed services to thousands of people.

The money you raise is donated so that AVERT can continue to provide our services. AVERT is an HIV/AIDS charity that receives no money from government and therefore relies on fundraising from individuals like you. Our HIV and AIDS work supports thousands of people around the world - and fundraising is key to us reaching even more.
Become a regular donor
Making a regular donation to AVERT is the ideal way of ensuring that we can plan for the future of our HIV and AIDS work. A regular payment plan is quick and easy to set up. You are notified of every payment as it leaves your account and once you set up the plan, you need to take no further action as AVERT will process everything for you. It's up to you how much you are able to give and for how long. Your ongoing support will allow us to expand what we do and reach even more people in the future.

Fundraising does not mean you have to be out there shaking a collection tin (although that can be fun!) There are so many varied and exciting ways that you can raise money for AVERT, whether on your computer or on the move. We've listed some of the best ideas below.
Auction an item on eBay for charity
The online shopping and auction site eBay allows people to list and sell items online that other people can bid for. You can state on your listing that you'd like the profits (or a percentage of them) to go to AVERT and eBay will send the money to AVERT if your item sells. One man's waste is another man's treasure!
Fundraise whilst yousearch online
Most search engines are sponsored by advertisers who pay revenue in return for promoting their adverts. The company Easyfundraising takes some of that revenue and instead donates it back to a charity of your choice every time you use their search engine, http://avert.easysearch.org.uk/ to search for websites online.
Set http://avert.easysearch.org.uk/ as your search provider and we receive donations for each search you make at no extra cost to you.
Fundraise whilst you shop online
Use Easyfundraising next time you shop online in the UK and the company will make a donation to AVERT. By signing up to easyfundraising in support of AVERT, you can also receive some great offers and deals and collect more donations for charity as you shop online. Visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/avert to sign up and find out more. All donations are made by the companies and retailers that sell the products which means you incur no extra costs.
Make tax effective donations from your salary
The Give As You Earn scheme allows you to make a donation out of your salary. Many people choose to make a donation in this way because it can be incredibly tax efficient - your donation is made before tax is calculated. In the UK for example, that means a donation of £1 would only cost the donor 80p and the charity could recover the rest of the tax.
Many employers are already able to process payroll giving and will be able to provide you with a form to register for the service. If not, it's easy for them to set up - just direct them to the Charities Aid Foundation website for companies where they can find out how to sign up.
International Payroll Giving
In the UK, Give As You Earn is organised by the Charities Aid Foundation. However, the UK isn't the only country that offers payroll giving and your employer might even have their own scheme.
