Fundraising for HIV and AIDS Charity, AVERT
If you're interested in setting up a fundraising event or activity for AVERT we'll provide you with fantastic support and materials. All of the pages on AVERT.org are available to print and distribute and our website also contains videos and games on HIV & AIDS and sexual health. AVERT would also be pleased to feature any event you hold on our behalf on our Facebook page and fundraising pages, so please let us know if you have an idea in mind!
Take a look through our community fundraising pack, it contains plenty of hints, tips and ideas to get you started - AVERT community fundraising pack (PDF).
If you want a printed version of the pack to be sent by post, want to discuss any fundraising ideas or request resources such as T-Shirts, badges and stickers, AIDS awareness ribbons and collection tins to help you fundraise, please email email@example.com, or give us a call on +44 (0) 1403 210202.
Why we need your help
AVERT receives no funding from government or other statutory sources and our administration costs are kept low. We operate from one office in Horsham, West Sussex. That means that a large proportion of your donation will directly support our HIV & AIDS work.
We work with people living in countries severely affected by the epidemic, building the capacity of programmes delivering life-saving HIV & AIDS treatment and care. All money raised goes towards supporting services that are sustainable and create long term solutions to mitigate the effects of HIV & AIDS. Funding has supported a variety of vital care work, from school bursaries for children orphaned as a result of AIDS to support for mobile testing centres.
